HEAD COACH: WILL GIBSON

About Will: "I have been involved in soccer for almost 40 years as a player, specator and coach. I first began playing community league soccer in Edmonton at age seven before playing in a competitive team from ages 10 through my early teenage years. I was privileged to see Pele at my first live match at Clarke Stadium, when the New York Cosmos played the Edmoton Black Gold, (the forerunners to the Edmonton Drillers). As a fan, I’ve traveled to both the World Cup and Europe to watch matches. I first began coaching in Fort McMurray seven years ago and began coaching with the Fury in 2008. I hold my Learn to Train and Soccer for Life certifications under the NCCP program. My goal for my group is to see them succeed collectively while improving their technique, tactical awareness and fitness as individual players."

About Danilo: "I have been involved with soccer since I could walk!  I grew up in Central America where soccer was a huge part of my culture.  After moving to Canada, I played in the men's league as a young teen and continue playing even to this day.  Over the years I have coached at various levels from U6-U18.

My desire is to share my passion for soccer and inspire each athlete to reach their full potential.  I believe their is a lot of talent in our community and look forward to helping shape these young people to be their best."
