Grey Kampala - Youth Soccer Scholarship

Grey Kampala Youth Soccer Scholarship

Grey Kampala was an integral part of youth soccer in Fort McMurray for many years.

He was a devoted soccer coach, player, referee and fan.  His commitment to all aspects of soccer are to be honoured and remembered.  Grey passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the age of 62.  He is survived by his loving wife Mieke, daughter Tikonde Bielecki (Terry), sons Jason (Karyn), Thomas (Yanin) and Benjamin (Katie) and five grandchildren.

This scholarship is to be awarded each year to one youth preparing for their secondary education. This young man or woman’s involvement and commitment to youth soccer and overall academic standings should excel among all others to equal the commitment and involvement that was given by Grey Kampala.
