Coaching Education

We are pleased to inform you that we are officially moving forward with Phase 2 of the Canada Soccer Coaching Pathway rollout. Starting this Spring, the Canadian Soccer Association will introduce the new C License Program, which will replace the Pre B Assessment, as the new entry level to the Licensing Stream of Coaching in Canada.

We are also pleased to let you know that Canada Soccer has decided to run a Pilot C License Course right here in Alberta meaning that Coaches in Alberta will have the opportunity to receive instruction from Canada Soccer Technical Staff at a reduced cost for 2014. The Pilot Program will run from May 8 to May 11, 2014 at Mount Royal University in Calgary. Evaluation will take place June 14, 15, 2014 in Edmonton and Calgary to conclude the program. We are now accepting registrations for this unique opportunity through our Online Course Management System.

Please refer to the attached informational document for full details on the C License, the Pilot Program and how it differs from the Pre B Assessment.

We have also attached a promotional flyer to support your efforts in promoting this course within your District.
